Rent Terms Conditions


How to make a reservation– Global Real Estate acts as a booking agent on behalf of the properties owners or their agents and your contract will be made with these accommodation providers. Fill out one of our request forms and we will send you a confirmation of the cost and availability by return. Please read the booking terms and conditions carefully. They apply to all bookings made with Global Real Estate and to all members of the party.

Contract – We will send you a confirmation E-mail of your booking. At that time that we send this confirmation a binding contract comes into existence. The contract date is the same date that appears on the confirmation (arrival date).

Holiday Insurance – We strongly recommend that you arrange appropriate holiday insurance. This insurance should cover the cost of cancellation, all medical costs and the costs of assistance including return to the UK in the event of an accident or illness. Please make sure that you advise your insurer or any special activities you may undertake on your holiday such as diving which may affect your holiday insurance.

Payments
a) before your arrival date you are required to pay a minimum of 25% deposit of the total value of the rental at the time of booking confirmation. This payment should be made promptly, normally within two days of reserving a property for you. The outstanding becomes due upon arrival. By agreeing to these booking conditions you consent to this procedure.

b) If you book less than three weeks prior to arrival, you must pay the full price of the accommodation when you book. Payment may be done via bank transfer to Global Real Estate HSBC accounts in Egypt. Please note your booking may be cancelled if you fail to make payment on time and you then are liable to pay the accommodation provider cancellation charges as set out below. All extras such as personal laundry, phone calls, food and drink bills, etc must be made directly to the accommodation provider.

Special Requests – If you have any special requests that do not form part of the standard accommodation services as described in our website e.g. cots, highchair requirements, please let us know at the time of booking. Global Real Estate pride themselves on the relationship that they have with the accommodation providers and strive to achieve all your special requests. We will pass such requests to the accommodation provider, but unfortunately cannot guarantee that they will be available. Further if the accommodation provider is unable to meet such requests neither Global Real Estate nor the accommodation provider can have any liability in this respect unless such special requests have been confirmed and guaranteed at the time of booking confirmation.

Changes to your booking – If you need to change any details of your original booking after we have supplied you with your confirmation we will do our best to help. However, the accommodation provider or Global Real Estate has no obligation to make any changes although it will permit you or any member of your party who is prevented from traveling to transfer the booking to an alternative name provided reasonable notice is given of the change. (See conditions below) You must confirm any change by E-mail.

If you have to cancel your holiday

Unless stated otherwise by email, you will be charged in accordance with the following scale:
a) Outside of 3 weeks departure (outside high season)
b) Cancelled booking – loss of deposit Name change – no charge
c) Inside 3 weeks of arrival (outside high season)
Cancelled booking – 25% charge of the full rent value

d) Inside 1 weeks of arrival (outside high season)
Cancelled booking – 100% charge of the full rent value
Name changing of an individual is done free of charge at no time must any more persons occupy a property than agreed at time of booking, except with prior written agreement. If the party size changes the cost of the rental remains the same the properties we offer are charged per property not per person.
No refunds can be made for stays that are ended earlier than booked. Global Real Estate will do everything in it’s power to avoid having to make any changes to any bookings. If in the unlikely event the accommodation provider advises us that they are unable to supply the accommodation booked, we will try to provide you with similar accommodation of equal standard. If we are unable to do this or you prefer not to accept the alternative you may cancel free of charge. Any payments you have made already made will be refunded to you in full.

Booking responsibilities – Due to the fact that Global Real Estate acts only as a booking agent we have no liability for any of the accommodation arrangements and in particular no liability for illness, personal injury, death or loss of any kind. Any claim for damages for injury, illness or death arising from your stay in accommodation must be brought against the provider of the accommodation and will be covered under the jurisdiction of the law of Egypt.

Complaints procedure – Should you have a problem on your holiday, it is a condition of booking with us that you must report it to the owner or the owner’s agent in the resort. If the issue is not resolved you must send us a fax or e-mail to make us aware of your complaint. We will then send a fax or e-mail back acknowledging your complaint. Global Real Estate will act as an intermediary to try and rectify the problem. Owners and agents must be given the opportunity to resolve any issues and allowances must be made by you for any local conditions regarding the reasonable amount of time taken to rectify the problem. Compensation payments will only be considered where it is proven that any reported problem had a prolonged or major impact on the enjoyment of your holiday. It is not acceptable to make a serious complaint after you have returned home.

Indemnity – When booking through Global Real Estate you accept responsibility for the proper conduct of yourself and your party during your stay. The accommodation provider reserves the right at any time to terminate your stay or that of any member of your party due to the misconduct of any member of your party within their reasonable opinion. Full cancellation will then apply and no refund will be given. Furthermore the accommodation owner shall be under no obligation whatsoever to pay compensation or meet any costs of expenses you may incur as a result of such termination, in accordance with this paragraph. If the behavior of any member of your party causes damage to the accommodation in which you are staying, you agree to fully indemnify us against any claim (including any legal costs) made against the accommodation owner. Finally you are also liable to reimburse the accommodation provider for any damage caused before the end of your stay.

Property Standards – We inspect all properties that we advertise and we endeavor to maintain high standards. However, inevitably, items break or require maintenance, therefore please be aware that you may encounter maintenance staff and gardeners during your stay. Please also remember that these are private homes and not hotels. They are taken at guests own risk and the properties owners or agents are not liable for damages or injury to person or any property belonging to any person. Please leave the property in a reasonably clean and tidy condition. We reserve the right to charge for extra cleaning if necessary.

N.B:
a) All previously mentioned are the standard conditions that are applied unless stated otherwise by email through our booking agents.
b) All rentals charges mentioned are quoted for long duration per month ( 3 months or more).
c) Long rentals charges quotations, exclude utilities consumption costs (water, electricity , & gas).
